About Me

I’m Gillian Doyle and I’m a make-up artist based in Dublin. I travel around Ireland and abroad for my job. The best parts of my job are connecting with people and helping them look and feel beautiful. Through my work with Bobbi Brown cosmetics I have developed a love for all things skin. When applying make-up, I believe skin should look like skin. Over the years I have developed a style which is a less is more approach to make-up. To create glowy and radiant looking make-up, I use high quality skincare and make-up. I use different techniques to create this look bespoke to each individual person.

I am so intrigued by makeup. It can transform a face, tell a story and I love that a little makeup can help improve a person’s confidence. With over 15 years experience working in the makeup industry. I believe that being a great makeup artist not only takes skill but also to listen and understand a clients wants and needs is particularly important.

I studied makeup artistry in 2005 and from there I worked as lead makeup artist for NARS cosmetics, resident makeup artist for Bobbi Brown in Brown Thomas and part of the travelling artistry team for Lancôme in Western Australia.

Recently I have been enjoying the freedom of working freelance and co-creating looks with my new and existing clients. My kit consists of high quality products including  Nars, Mac, Bobbi Brown, Armani, Charlotte Tilbury, Hourglass and IT cosmetics. I get excited by new and interesting products on the market to add to my kit.

I continue to learn and improve my skills from professionals in the industry. I attend workshops and masterclasses whenever I get the chance. The learning never stops!
